Don’t Fall Victim to CBD Scams – Reba McEntire Fights Back!

It is not correct to say that every celebrity in Hollywood is a fan of CBD supplements just because there are a few celebrities who publicly support it. Unfortunately, con artists have taken advantage of CBD’s high status among the entertainment industry. There have been numerous fraudulent celebrity endorsements for CBD companies and products.

Recently, Nature’s One CBD has released multiple advertisements claiming that Reba McEntire supports their products. However, official records state that McEntire has never been associated with CBD oils, capsules, or gummies. Until McEntire herself confirms her approval, customers should be wary of any hemp products that appear to have her endorsement.

Reba McEntire Takes a Stand Against CBD Scammers

In a recent tweet, McEntire cautioned her followers to be wary of any items that seemed to have her approval. The singer particularly pointed out “CBD gummies” as something to be careful of. McEntire asserted that she will only reveal partnerships on her verified Twitter account or her legitimate websites like http://reba.com/.

Prior to Reba McEntire’s Twitter announcement, Snopes.com looked into a series of questionable CBD-related ads that appeared on Facebook. These ads often included a picture of the singer and a link to what seemed to be a FOX News article. After examining the code for these pages, researchers concluded that they weren’t part of FOX’s legitimate webpage.

These advertisements asserted that Reba McEntire had experienced amazing results from taking Nature’s One CBD gummies. There were links on the pages to buy these gummies, but there were no telephone numbers linked to the company.

It is not known if McEntire will take legal action against Nature’s One CBD for utilizing her identity and representation in these false promotions. In the meantime, customers should stay away from any CBD items that claim to be from Reba McEntire.

Celebrities Beware: The CBD Scam is Real!

Sadly, the McEntire CBD fraud is not the only example. Well-known celebrities such as Clint Eastwood and Mayim Bialik have been included in dubious CBD advertisements in recent years. Notably, Eastwood had some legal success in taking CBD companies to court for claiming that he had endorsed their hemp products.

It can be difficult to tell what is legitimate in the burgeoning CBD industry due to the fact that many famous people are known to endorse its supplements. For example, Kristen Bell has her own range of CBD products marketed under the brand name “Happy Dance”, while Martha Stewart is widely known for her endorsement of CBD products in her Shop Canopy store.

People must be wary whenever they come across an endorsement of CBD by a celebrity. Unless there is a verifiable announcement that a famous person is promoting CBD oil, it is likely not genuine.
